Directed by Allison Heishman and set designed by Angela Toich, this devised piece was wacky and fun and the lighting, costumes, and moving panels of the set reflected that. As assistant set designer, I helped choose and source furniture pieces, assist in scenic painting and props tasks, and also aid in technical challenges. One of the big challenges with this set was that in the last scene of the show, the actors painted on the gray walls of the set. I worked with sampling different kinds of paint and different cleaning methods to ensure that the set would not be permanently altered or discolored from the paint each night.
